The Australian Near Infrared Spectroscopy Group (ANISG) is an Australian learned society, with the aim of promoting interaction between users, researchers and developers of NIR equipment, software and chemometric data processing.
ANISG was formed in 1988 during the inaugural conference at Hamilton, Victoria. A total of fifteen successful conferences have been held across the country, usually at intervals of 1-2 years. ANISG also organised the 6th International Conference on NIR Spectroscopy at Lorne, Victoria, in 1994.
Due to the current health situation, the ANISG Committee has decided that we will not go forward with the meeting planned for August. Whilst the situation could well improve by then we are not prepared to risk either health or our finances until there is a return to normal (whatever that may be).
At present we have no thoughts as to when the meeting will be rescheduled for, but if it occurs it will be well before NIR2021 in Beijing in October 2021.
