The Australian Near Infrared Spectroscopy Group holds a conference every two years, in even years, alternating with the International Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy. This series of conferences is now organised in collaboration with the New Zealand Near Infrared Spectroscopy Society Inc (NZNIRSS), and the 2012 Conference was held in New Zealand for the first time.
